This workshop focused on my skills as a web developer. I learnt advanced skills in HTML, CSS and Java. I got to work with an API in which I created a weather forecast app that uses real-time data acquired from the API system. I learnt how to use GitHub and habits to instil as a developer. I have also learnt hosting through the use of Netlify as a primary hosting platform.
SheCodes AI add-on
The AI introductory workshop provided easy-to-learn lessons and challenges on how to use AI api systems and how to integrate AI into projects. I effectively created an AI quote generator using the skills I acquired through the AI add-on workshop.

I learnt how to develop a responsive website . I learnt additional skills in HTML, CSS and Java. Using the Bootstrap framework, I was able to efficiently create a portfolio page. In addition, I made my website more SEO friendly.

I learnt advanced web development skills and created a landing page about travelling to Cape Town. I learnt additional skills such as adding embeds, creating my own container and grids using purely CSS with no frameworks.

I learnt how to use the React Framework and how to create different components all bundled in one html page but function differently. I was able to recreate a Weather Forecast application using React. I implemented API integration to fetch the weather data and the date & time. Using Responsive design, I made the website reponsive to all device resolutions.

I learnt additonal skills in React and I created a Vite React template dictionary app. I implemented API integration to fetch the dictionary data using user prompts. The workshop focused more on advancing my skills in using React and delving deeper into the potential of React.
